Christian, Dear exists to speak the gospel message gently and clearly to weary hearts.

This website is dedicated to sharing God’s Word in a way that is faithful to Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ, reminding believers again and again of what is already true: in Jesus, you are forgiven, loved, and secure. Through devotionals, reflections, and Scripture-rooted encouragement, Christian, Dear aims to point you to your Savior and to strengthen your faith with the confidence that comes from God’s promises.

I’m Alex Brown—a writer and fellow Christian in need of the same grace I write about. I’m a 2023 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, where I earned my Master of Divinity and was shaped deeply by the gospel-centered clarity of Scripture. Today, I work full-time at Northwestern Publishing House as a marketing and content copywriter, while also writing as an indie author in both fiction and theological reflections. I’m also a husband and father, learning daily what it means to live by faith in the ordinary rhythms of life. Christian, Dear grew out of a simple desire: to speak the gospel gently and clearly to weary souls using the written word. This space exists to point you to your Savior Jesus—to remind you, again and again, of the confidence you have in his forgiveness, his mercy, and his promises.
